Observando os resultados de Copenhague e as reações de formadores de opinião e da imprensa, a ATA posiciona-se da seguinte maneira:
Confirmou-se a dificuldade, ou mesmo a incapacidade, de lideranças governamentais, reunidas sob o processo decisório da ONU, estabelecerem um consenso mundial sobre o tema. Por outro lado, sua relevância e urgência foi confirmada por todos [...]
